Why Private Lessons?

Dogs with Jag’s private training lessons are specifically designed to help YOU learn how to work with your dog! Private dog training lessons include a personalized homework packet tailored specifically to your dog’s behavior and training goals. This ensures you know exactly what to practice between sessions so your dog continues making progress until our next lesson.

You’ll receive unlimited text and email support during your private dog’s training journey, giving you ongoing guidance and answers between sessions - something many Austin dog trainers don’t offer. I will recommend proven management tools and create custom daily routines to help reinforce your dog’s training at home and in real-world environments. These routines are designed to improve leash manners, obedience, impulse control, and overall behavior.

All private lessons start with a 30-minute evaluation session. This time is spent discussing our training goals and evaluating the dog’s current behavior. Once you’ve answered all my questions, and I’ve answered yours, I’ll begin to curate a customized game plan to meet the goals we’ve set.

During each private lesson, the game plan turns into an action plan! You’ll learn effective handling skills, proper communication, and structured training techniques that create calm, consistent dog behavior. Between lessons, you will be provided weekly homework, activities, and best practice tips & tricks.

• 3 Lessons: $450

• 5 Lessons: $675
